Sunset Bay Resort is nestled in of the most attractive villages on Manitoulin Island. Kagawong, known as the place "where the mists rise", is home to Bridal Veil Falls, a popular tourist destination. If you're looking to go out on the "big water", to catch salmon, rainbow, brown or lake trout, you may want to inquire about a charter.

Lake Kagawong is known for its great fishing! Whether you're angling for perch, pike, small mouth bass, or walleye, the lake is bound to catch and keep your interest!

You can rent one of Sunset Bay Resort's 16', regulation equipped boats that come with 15hp Johnston motors. Or, if you choose, you can bask in a paddleboat to catch a few rays. Afterwards, with the stars above and gentle island breezes that keep the mosquitoes at bay, you can gather around the campfire to swap stories with other guests.

Each of the two and three bedroom house-keeping cottages are located on the waterfront and come with your choice of two or three bedrooms with double beds, three piece bathrooms, living room, and kitchenettes with electric fridge, stove, coffee maker, and microwaves. Stay in Sunset Bay Resort's spacious, newly constructed four-bedroom loft log cottage or our three-bedroom cottage, which boasts a wood-burning fireplace. Each cottage has treated and monitored drinking water, its own propane BBQ, fire pit and lawn chairs. All you have to do is bring your bedding, toiletries, and towels!
